Here at Richard and Rice Construction, we are always working to stay ahead of the curve by using the most up-to-date technology available. This helps us offer the very best to our customers. We are currently in the process the process of creating a mobile app that will be accessible for all employees, scheduled to be finished by June of this year. Each with a unique account, R&R personnel will have the ability to better manage their assigned projects by seeing every update as it happens in real time.

Organized by each home project, this app will show the status of every task that is being planned for that specific project, organized by ‘not started’, ‘in progress’ and ‘completed.’ When something is edited or added into the app, such as a new task or a note about the task, every employee working on the project will be able to view that update.

Our estimating department uses special software called Planswift for all our estimates. All of it on screen to quickly and accurately measure all needed information form the plants. You can point and click from any plan file, making it easy to complete takeoff’s and manage plans. They also have a drag and drop option for material and labor assemblies. The software allows us to quickly and easily share estimates since it can be printed or exported and is fully Excel compatible.

By keeping up with technology, it allows us to bring our customers the best possible service available. These tools help us to avoid going over budget while staying ahead of deadlines. We put customer service first at Richard and Rice Construction and high tech tools help us to do just that!
