Venetian Pointe is a new community under construction in Fort Myers. It is a combination project, with homes being built by Zuckerman Homes and D.R. Horton. Richard and Rice Construction is the shell contractor for Zuckerman Homes on this project.

Venetian Pointe will be a gated community made up of about 100 homes with prices starting in at $279,900. Zuckerman Homes is offering 5 different models, with 2, 3 and 4 bedroom options. The homes come with a number of features and customizable options, as well as a list of energy saving features. The homes have high ceilings, 8-foot high sliders and entry doors, natural gas for range, water heater and dryer, granite and marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, under mount kitchen sink and more.

For the exterior, the homes come with approved hurricane storm panels, S style tile roof, a covered Florida room and more. A few energy saving features include: R-4.1 exterior block wall insulation on the first floor, R-19 exterior wall insulation on the second floor and high efficiency air conditioning and heating systems with programmable thermostats. The community will have a resort style pool, gym and more.

Located at the corner of Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive, Venetian Pointe is just five miles from Fort Myers Beach, six miles from Sanibel Island, and close to over 40 renowned golf courses. Lakes Regional Park is nearby, as well as entertainment venues, world-class shopping, dining options, and the vibrant nightlife of Downtown Fort Myers. Bell Tower Shops, Coconut Point Mall, Mercato, and the Miromar Outlets are all just a short drive away. Venetian Pointe is also near the industry-leading HealthPark Medical Center and Galisano Children’s Hospital, in addition to A-rated schools and easy access to Southwest Florida International Airport and I-75.

This is just one of a number of projects Richard and Rice Construction is working on in the Fort Myers area.
