Here at Richard & Rice Construction we cherish our customer relationships. Many developers and builders we have been working with for years, something that is an honor. We have also kicked off 2019 with a number of new customers that we want to introduce you to.
New Urban Communities tries to build green whenever possible, by avoiding development in environmentally-sensitive sites and farmland, providing publicly accessible green space, building close to public transportation and more. It was founded 20 years ago by Kevin Richard and Tim Hernandez. They were recently ranked by the South Florida Business Journal to be among the top 25 home builders in South Florida.
We are working with them to build the Azul Apartments, in an historic area of Downtown Stuart. Located in the 1.4-acre area known as the Triangle Property, Azul will be the only new rental community offered in this part of Stuart and will bring 49 new residences to the area. Azul will feature 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom apartments with private balconies and patios, as well as high ceilings. It is within walking distance of more than 75 shops, restaurants, and cultural/entertainment venues, the spectacular Riverwalk, Sunset Bay Marina and several great parks.
Stellar Communities was established in 2009. They started as a real estate development company and have grown into a full service firm with a progressive focus on eco-luxury initiatives for residential sale and rental communities. Stellar Communities is committed to reducing ecological impact while maximizing sustainability. All of their homes are certified by the Florida Green Building Coalition and are built with a number of eco-friendly features.
We are working with them to build Whispering Oaks in Dania Beach. This single family home community is centrally located and is being built with eco-luxury and smart home technologies.
Mattamy Homes has been around since 1978 and is North America’s largest privately owned home builder. According to their website: Mattamy is rigorous about every single aspect of community planning. We acquire the land, design the homes, plan the streets, and we create the people spaces—the walking and biking trails, parks, and other community features.
We will soon begin work on Terraza Isles in Miramar and Enclave at Boynton Waters in Boynton Beach.
